Africa’s staggering debt burden and multiple crises are derailing progress on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), warned UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.

Themed “Sustainable Urbanization Planning for Africa’s Transformation – Agenda 2063,” the forum promises to be a landmark event, bringing together over 1,500 participants to discuss strategies for sustainable urban development across the continent.

The Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) announced the launch of two groundbreaking initiatives aimed at bolstering Africa’s fight against infectious diseases.
